ISO1540QDRQ1 – 2‑Channel Bidirectional I²C Digital Isolator (AEC‑Q100) | Available at ChipsX

The ISO1540QDRQ1 is a low-power, dual-channel bidirectional I²C isolator from Texas Instruments, engineered with capacitive isolation technology for robust signal separation. It’s designed to support isolated communication between different domains in harsh environments while maintaining full compatibility with I²C and SMBus protocols.

Key Features:

  • Automotive-grade AEC-Q100 qualification, covering operation from –40 °C to +125 °C

  • Isolation rating of 2.5 kVrms and excellent transient immunity of 25 kV/µs

  • Supports I²C clock stretching and data rates up to 1 MHz

  • Supply voltage range: 3.0 V to 5.5 V

  • Low power consumption with open-drain outputs (3.5 mA sink Side 1, 35 mA sink Side 2)

  • Functional safety-capable with documentation support

  • Compact SOIC-8 package

Typical Applications:

  • High-voltage battery management and EV/HEV systems

  • Isolated I²C, SMBus, and PMBus interfaces

  • Motor control units and body electronics

  • Sensor gateways and industrial automation networks

  • Any I²C-level shifting or ground isolation need
